GRAINS – WHY IT’S IMPORTANT TO EAT ORGANIC

Ok, so this might be a little controversial & I know so many people roll their eyes when the health industry pushes eating organic produce…but I want to explain exactly WHY it’s important to eat organic – when you can. And ESPECIALLY with grains.

IMMUNE BOOSTING CHICKEN & VEGETABLE SOUP

There’s a reason our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents would feed us a warm chicken soup when we were sick. Allllllll of those nutrients!

So, so many amazing immune boosting, anti-inflamitory properties of this soup…all which I will detail after the recipe, for those that don’t really care about all of the ‘nutrition’ side of things and just want the recipe!

EASY, PALEO MEATBALLS

I love to play around and ‘secretly’ add some veggies into well, everything!! This yummy meatball mixture are literally half vegetables so they are a perfect way to add in some extra serves of vitamins (especially for the kids or partner that rolls their eyes at the look of anything healthy haha!) LEMON COCONUT MILKSHAKE PROTEIN BALLS

OH.MY.GOSH
These are SO amazing and literally smelt like a vanilla/coconut milkshake when I was making them…I had to hold myself back from eating all of the mixture!! Plus, they are plant based, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free and if you want to make them nut free you could substitute the almond meal for coconut flour or gluten free oats!  (more…)

CHOC-PROTEIN VEGAN PANCAKES

Continuing on my Candida diet, I wanted to treat myself over the weekend after sticking to it alllllll week! So, I got to researching and edited a few healthy protein pancake recipes I came across to suit the Candida requirements. I do have to say, I think the cinnamon was a game-changer!
