Vegas is BIG, it’s BRIGHT and it’s on 24/7!

In saying all of this, I was so daunted by the idea of organising Vegas because I was worried we would miss out on something, so here are some of my tips and a few things I wish I knew before we got there… (more…)

SANTA CRUZ

As we began the drive from San Francisco to Las Vegas, we stopped off at Santa Cruz for a night. Yes, the town infamous for the Santa Cruz clothing & skateboard lines.

We had so much fun along the Boardwalk after checking in. We walked past the Fair to the Pier and watch the Sea Lions playing in the sun (more…)

SAN FRANCISCO

San Francisco was our first and also last stop on our Summer American Road Trip as it was the airport we flew in and out of. It was so great to visit twice with 3 months in between each as the weather was so different!
If you’re wondering what to do in San Francisco for 3 days, here is our itinerary.
We flew in on August 5th and the weather was beautiful…sunny every day, between 25 and 30 degrees and sunset around 8:30pm! On the other hand, we flew out on November 3rd and the weather was still beautiful, but only around 12 – 20 degrees and sunset around 6pm. The Festive Season (more…)

Hellooooooo Christmas! (wtf how is 2017 nearly over!!?)
And also a hello to lots of food, lots of drinks and LOTS of fun spent with friends & family!
Now, lets just all take a moment to appreciate all of the delicious food we have eaten over the past few days (or weeks if ya know what I mean…Christmas parties, lunches etc). One of my biggest achievements over the last 12 months has been improving my relationship with food so I want to jump right on in to my very first (and what I would consider most important of all) tip:

1 – APPRECIATE THE FOODS YOU HAVE EATEN. ENJOY THEM!

INTUITIVE FITNESS

One of the biggest buzz words to come from 2017 (apart from turmeric and anti-inflammatory) is ‘intuitive’. Everything from intuitive living, intuitive fitness and ‘eating intuitively’.

But what does that even mean? (more…)

USA TRAVEL TIPS & HINTS

Ahh America…the land of the free!
I’ve been a little (ok, a lot) quiet on the blog front lately because I’ve been traveling around America for the last 3 months! It’s been an amazing experience and I’ve definatly managed to tick quite a lot of bucket list items off! Needless to say, every day or 2 I get messages from people asking questions which I LOVE because I wish I had of thought to ask MORE questions to people before we left so that some things weren’t a shock…but you know what they say, you do your best learning when you’re thrown in the deep end!

Anyway, obviously I can’t cover everything in one post, there will be many to come that will cover the main areas we have been but I thought I would start off with my top 20 hints & tips, and just a few weird things in general that we have come across!
Also, some of our hints for apps to use, grocery stores to keep an eye out for etc. (more…)

PIÑA COLADA VEGAN SMOOTHIE

Omg you guys this is actually amazing!! I’m getting a little bit sick of chocolate protein as I’ve had a bit of an overload the past few months, so this is a refreshing change away from the standard ‘berries, spinach and chocolate’ smoothies.
A delicious, protein and healthy fat packed smoothie perfect for breakfast or a snack!

INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons of dessicated coconut
Half a banana (more…)

My version of a deeeelish carbonara pasta packed with protein from the chicken and quinoa pasta and also a wholeee sneaky bag of baby spinach (that I mix through and trick my boyfriend into eating hehehe)
Oh, and the best bit…it literally takes 15-20 mins depending on how quickly your pasta & chicken cooks!
