How often do you cancel on a work meeting? Or lunch with a friend? Not that often huh?
So why do we cancel on ourselves all the time?

I know, I know, you’re busy…you had that workout scheduled into your day but then something else came up and now you’re ‘working out tomorrow instead’.

Sorry, but that’s not good enough anymore.

You need to start treating yourself as if you are JUST as important as that work meeting or catch up with the girls.
But how?
Schedule in that time on your calendar as if it were an appointment or a meeting. Yep…my calendar has a minimum of one entry every.single.day because I schedule in time to move my body every day. And I don’t cancel on that.

There’s also some things that I schedule in weekly and monthly. These are things that I know make me feel good and they make me a better person to be around.

WEEKLY/DAILY:
Exercise & moving my body (daily)
Yoga
Meditation
Food shopping and meal prep
Self care and getting into my flow state (reading, yoga, painting, dancing, meditating)

MONTHLY:
Coaching sessions for myself
Date night/day with Aaron
Me time – float, beach day, bush walk, watch netflix
Girls day/night

If you’re dreaming of more me time, more quality time with your partner and more time to workout, then it’s time to prioritise yourself just as highly as you do everyone and everything else in your life!
